SUCCESS at SUU

SUCCESS Academy at Southern Utah University

SUCCESS Academy currently leases administrative and instructional space from Southern Utah. Our campus at SUU consists of three classrooms, a science lab and administrative offices. Two of the classrooms are located in the Electronic Learning Center and one classroom, the science lab and the administrative offices are located in the Science Center. SUCCESS Academy has signed a letter of intent with the University to remodel and occupy the Multipurpose Building as a permanent location for the school. This remodeling will begin after the education department moves to their new building which is currently under construction. We are grateful to SUU for their tremendous support of SUCCESS Academy and their commitment to the mission of the Early College High School initiative.

Southern Utah University is a dynamic higher education system committed to helping students reach their goals and dreams. SUU was selected as one of America's Best Value Colleges in the 2007 Princeton Reveiw (PDF download). In addtion, SUU continues to have high rates of success for students attending advanced graduate school experiences.

Southern Utah University, under the direction of former Provost Abe Harraf, former Dean of the college of science Dean Harold Ornes, and former SUU President Steven Bennion were instrumental in the formation of SUCCESS Academy. Due to their creative vision and high standards of excellence, SUCCESS Academy was first created.

SUCCESS Academy now works under the direction of current SUU President Michael T. Benson, Acting Provost Rodney Decker and Acting Dean of the college of science Robert Eves.
